Abstract:The article provides an understanding on the relationships between eicosanoids and diet in human physiology. Eicosanoids refers to hormones developed my microorganisms which affect the synthesis of other hormone in the body. Excessive production of bad eicosanoid may cause the occurrence of chronic diseases such as Alzheimer, arthritis and cancer. Production of Eicosanoids can be controlled by balancing the dietary intake of essential fatty acids in the body.
