Abstract:Reports that estrogen-progestin therapy has failed to slow the progression of coronary-artery atherosclerosis in post-menopausal women in the U.S. Indication in the progression of atherosclerosis seen on cardiac angiograms; Importance in preventing coronary artery disease after menopause; Factor that showed thickening of the carotid artery wall.
