Abstract:Discusses research being done on the association between fish intake and the progression of coronary artery atherosclerosis in women with coronary artery disease. Reference to a study by A. T. Erkkila, A. H. Lichtenstein, D. Mozaffarian, D. M. Herrington, published in a 2004 issue of the "American Journal of Clinical Nutrition"; Method used to evaluate changes in the mean minimum coronary artery diameter, the mean percentage of stenosis and the development of new coronary lesions; Food servings with which smaller increases in the percentage of stenosis was associated.
