Abstract:Provides some insights into interrelationship between Crohn's disease, osteoporosis and vitamin K. Correlation between vitamin K status and rate of bone resorption even after controlling for vitamin D status, calcium intake and other potential confounding variables; Prevalence of osteopenia and osteoporosis in people with Crohn's disease; Occurrence of bone loss resulting from nutritional deficiencies and glucocorticoid use.
