Abstract:The article reports on the effectiveness of polyphenols derived from olive oil in protecting against peptic ulcers and gastric cancers, according to a report. Helicobacter pylori causes most peptic ulcers and some gastric cancers. According to scientists, polyphenols derived from olive oil were highly stable in an aqueous, acidic environment similar to that of the stomach. The antibacterial effects of olive polyphenols were stronger than those of polyphenols from other plant extracts.
