Abstract:The article provides information relate to the symptoms and treatment of vaginal yeast infections. The main symptoms include itching in the vaginal area, pain on urination and as unpleasant discharge from the vagina. Natural yeasts become resistant to over-the-counter antifungal medicines over time, however, maintaining the balance of the pH level in the vagina maintains its acidic environment, thereby protecting it from harmful bacteria, yeast and other pathogens.
