Abstract:The article discusses health measures to prevent a cold or flu virus or bacterial infections in general. According to the author, most people are familiar with echinacea, vitamin C or zinc, but there are also other important nutrients to keep a healthy and boost immune system such as fatty acids and antioxidants. Furthermore, the immune system requires all the essential dietary macronutrients like carbohydrates, protein, fat and water.
